Annie Klodd is a statewide Extension Educator for fruit crops, including grapes. She is originally from Indianola, Iowa where her family owns a winery and vineyard. She started working in the vineyard in 1997 when her family planted their first grapevines. After college, she continued to work in viticulture as a graduate student at Penn State University, studying how to use perennial cover crops in vineyards. Before coming to UMN Extension in 2018, she worked for Penn State Extension's weed management team. Her fruit Extension program at UMN involves work in grapes, apples, small fruit, and pumpkins. Feel free to contact Annie with any grape-growing questions, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
